    Building a new congregation

In this newsletter we intend on letting you all know our intentions for a new worldwide congregation.  Because of the internet and social media it is  very easy to broadcast important information to the world in ways that were not plausible in the past.  We see no reason why we shouldn’t take advantage of this.  Our followers are few at this time but we intend on reaching as many people as we can worldwide with our good news and current truths.  We intend on reaching persons who are seeking the truth on current events and religious issues.  This is part of the reason the Truthseeker program was started.  By reaching persons worldwide with with our messages we feel we are fulfilling our god given obligation.  (Mt 24:14, Ec 12:13,) The scriptures indicate that once you have gained knowledge about the true God, you are obligated to speak that knowledge to others.  As the writer of this newsletter I do not wish to be known as The Truthseeker or even simply as Truthseeker.  My name is not what is important.  Just know that I am a God fearing man who is trying to fulfill his obligation to God.  I do not intend on writing all of these newsletters myself either.  I intend on meeting and grooming other brothers in spirit to speak the word to others in the best ways possible.  I believe it is Gods will for some of you to write some of these articles, pass out written literature, and minister to others in the best ways we see fit.

We will be continuously praying for holy spirit in order to reach all persons with the right messages for them whether or not that means ministering to them individually or as part of a congregation.  We use the bible as the ultimate authority when it comes to analyzing situations and ministering to the sick, bereaved, or those in need of counsel.  We encourage our worldwide followers to do thorough research before commenting on articles as we do thorough research ourselves to bring you our end summaries on topics in our Truthseeker newsletter.  We know that Satan the devil is looking to deceive the entire inhabited world and we know that includes us so we do thorough research before delivering our summaries to you. (Re 12:9)  This is not an attempt to start a cult and as far as the topic of cults go we suggest that you read Brother Jamal D. Sanders’s article on “How to leave a cult” at devotion4eternity.wordpress.com when you have some time as well as the  article in The Truthseeker newsletter vol. 5 on “Who do you worship with and why”.

One of the reasons this Truthseeker program is so important is that there is so much deception in the world and time is running out.  It appears we are living in the last days. (2 Ti 3: 1-5) No one knows when the last day itself will be however we must be vigilante and active in doing gods work.  (1 Th 5:2)

We want to be vigilante or awake during the time of the end because we don’t want to be part of the world empire of false religion when Gods judgement falls upon it.  Upon close research we can see that false religion is likened to a harlot or woman in revelations.  (Re 17:1, 5,6) False religion is know as Babylon in the book of revelations.  Babylon the Great will fall hard.  (Re 18:8) We certainly would want to be separate from Babylon the Great when her time comes to be judged.  The bible tells us that God will bless those who do his will and those who are are judged as righteous.  The bible speaks of a new heavens and a new earth where righteousness is to dwell.  (2 Pe 3:13) The bible also tells us that we can live forever if we are God fearing and do Gods will.  (Isa 65:17-25, Joh 11: 25,26)  These are blessings we can all attain if we realize that we are all sinners who need to adhere to Gods word the bible in order to make it. (Ro 5:12)

We may not always agree on every summary reached in the Truthseeker newsletters, however we believe that we will be revealing a lot of truth so that we can feed you spiritually.  Some people may have specific needs that need to be met, this is why we hope and pray for growth in followers and ministers.  We cannot feed you all the same message and expect to heal your spirits all at once.  This is an attempt at reaching as many persons as possible with the truth.  We will not pretend to have all the answers to all of your questions or claim to have “New light” if it is not really so.  Also we want you to question our conclusions on different topics if you do not understand or agree with them.  This is the only way to learn.  We do not claim to be perfect but we believe we are doing Gods will and we attempt to bring you as much God inspired truth as we can.  Keep in mind, there are still many sacred secrets that we still do not know.  When I say we, I mean the entire world.  God reveals His word in His own time.  With all this being said, we encourage you to continue to follow us and to be a part of the Truthseeker program.

Justice for Trayvon Martin

The nation has been rocked by the recent trial and acquittal of George Zimmerman. Zimmerman has admitted that he used a gun to shoot Trayvon Martin, thus ending his life.  There were three possible outcomes for this case according to the law.  Zimmerman could either be found guilty of second degree murder, found guilty of manslaughter or found not guilty.  Zimmerman was acquitted of the charges and found not guilty.  By the legal definition of Manslaughter however, it would seem that Zimmerman should have been found guilty of Manslaughter.  The verdict has left many with a bad taste in their mouth to say the least.  Some persons may take the law into their own hands.  Many civil rights leaders have asked the public to remain nonviolent.  Many people still feel that this is an injustice and they need closure.  This article was written with the intent on possibly giving some that closure even though that may be a tall task. Consider this however.  The law has given Zimmerman freedom to walk in society but is he really free.  I think not.  From the moment Zimmerman shot and killed Trayvon he made himself an outkast.  From that day forward persons close to Trayvon would want vengeance. As the days continue and more and more people become aware of the travesty that befell this teenager, more persons would harbor anger towards Zimmerman.  He has reportedly received death threats already.  Riots may not be breaking out nationwide at the present time but it would seem that Zimmerman has a big bullseye on his back.  In subsequent days there is no telling what type of violent situations Zimmerman may be placed in out in the public.  According to his Mixed Martial Arts teacher, Zimmerman is not a very good fighter.  The accounts of his altercation with Trayvon hint towards that as well.  Yes Zimmerman may be free to some persons, but his freedom is very much in question.  Will he wear a disguise in public?  Many questions come to my mind when the word “freedom” is used regarding Zimmerman.

When it is all said and done there is one source of justice that none of us can escape.  That is Gods justice.  When the time comes for him to meet his maker so to speak, he will have to answer for the death of Trayvon Martin.

For some people the issue is that today the justice system has failed and they do not feel comfortable with the idea that someone could be acquitted of this crime.  Many feel that our legal system is flawed and it makes them feel uneasy.  For those people this article cannot provide closure.  I would beckon them to petition their public representatives to make harsher gun laws or to change the laws on self defense.  After all, Zimmerman is the one who initiated the violent encounter.  He was told not to follow Trayvon, yet he apparently continued to follow him.  I believe that following someone you consider a threat, when you are not a police officer is initiating an altercation.  Trayvon had just as much right to roam those grounds as Zimmerman.  It would seem that maybe there is a problem with the laws themselves.  Petitioning the lawmakers seems like a good step towards gaining closure.

One day God will invoke His form of justice.  There will be justice for Trayvon.  Please continue following this blog/newsletter and I encourage you to comment on the things written in the newsletter of religion and current events.

Should we uphold the sabbath?

Many religious persons worldwide uphold the sabbath day as a sacred holy day on which no work must be done.  The question is; Is this the right thing for them to be doing?  In the New World Translation of the Holy Scriptures at Exodus 20:9,10 it says” you are to render service and you must do all your work six days.  But the seventh day is a sabbath to Jehovah your God. You must not do any work, you nor your son nor your daughter, your slave man nor your slave girl nor your domestic animal nor your alien resident who resides inside your gates.” So we see that during the days of “The Law” when god had a chosen people, God did have a sabbath day that persons were to uphold.  However are we all as Christians to follow a sabbath today?  At Romans 10:4 it states “Christ is the end of the Law, so that everyone exercising faith may have righteousness.” Sabbath keeping was a part of the law.  God used Christ to bring the law to its end.  Our having a righteous standing with god depends on us having faith in Christ, not on keeping a weekly sabbath.  Read Ephesians 2: 13-16.  At Colossians 2:13-16 it reads “God kindly forgave us all our trespasses and blotted out the handwritten document against us, which consisted in decrees and which was in opposition to us…Therefore let no man judge you in eating and drinking or in respect of a festival or of an observance of the new moon or of a sabbath.”  The handwritten document spoken of here is The Law. Through Christ we have a means of our sins being forgiven.  We need not lean on The Law. Under the mosaic Law if a person was found guilty of doing some work on the sabbath he was to be stoned to death by the whole congregation  according to exodus 31: 14 and Numbers 15: 32-35.  Christians today are not expected to do that either ofcourse.  By law of the land we cannot stone wrongdoers to death for disobeying the sabbath.  Many who argue for sabbath keeping should be glad that we are not under that law.

The Seventh day Adventists churches uphold the sabbath and argue in its behalf but if their followers do not uphold the sabbath they do not stone them.  So they are in a sense disobeying part of the law which they feel they are under.  The Adventists bring out much truth from the bible and spread it abroad to their followers and newcomers in pamphlets etcetera.  However when it comes to their adherance to the sabbath they are going astray from what is nessessary to do as a worshiper of God.  The New testament repeatedly tells us to follow Christ as opposed to the Law.  The Law was created for Gods chosen people at the time (Isreal) so that they can see that they are sinners and that they could not stand up to all of Gods laws. Some of the principals of the Law we can still follow today, but we are not under obligation to follow the Law word for word and we cannot do so because it conflicts with the laws of the land.

I hope that the issue of whether or not to uphold the sabbath has been clearly explained to you and that you now have a clear understanding.  Please leave a comment so we can see your point of view and that any misunderstandings can be cleared up. God be with you.

The Truthseeker newsletter vol.5

This is the newsletter of Religion and Current Events.

Subject: Who do you worship with and why?
Why do you attend church? Is it because you have the most talented quire? Do you enjoy the songs? Is it because your pastor has the best antics and suits? Or do you go to show off your new outfits? If it surprises you that these are not important reasons to go to church, there is something wrong with your reasoning. It is true that there are some songs that can be inspirational and that an enthusiastic pastor can be entertaining, however; what are you really learning? Shouldn’t the purpose of going to church be to gain knowledge of God and to find out what is pleasing to God? (Eccl.12:13) Proverbs 1:7 of  The Holy Bible translated by the World publishing company reads: ” the fear of the Lord is the beggining of knowledge: but fools despise wisdom and instruction.”
While watching a televangelist one day, I noticed that his congregation was extremely animated. One woman seemed totally entranced by him and his fiery delivery. I laughed when he held a familiar tune that most people know. He sang ” Row, row, row your boat, gently down the stream, merrily merrily merily merrily, life is but a dream.” The sight of a minister doing this from the stage can be quite humorous. One thing I noticed is that he rarely quoted from the bible however. His antics were amusing but we always want to use Gods word as the ultimate authority when we are preaching.
While many people may think nothing of hopping from one friends church to another friends church. Doing so can be harmful to ones spiritual health. The book of revelations holds prophecies that describe the fall of Babylon the Great, also known as the world empire of false religion. In The Holy bible published by the world publishing company (not the Watchtower bible and tract society) at Revelations 17:5 it reads :”And upon her forehead was a name written, Mystery, Babylon the Great, The mother of the Harlots and Abominations of the earth.” Babylon the Great is described as the mother of  Harlots. Upon close examination of revelations it is understood that because of how false religions “mix” with political kingdoms which are under demonic rule, Babylon the Great must be destroyed.

I have examined revelations many times and other bible scholars will tell you that the book of revelations does contain many symbolysms and agree with what I just stated.  Satan is symbolized as a dragon in the book of revelations.  Political systems are sometimes symbolized as beasts.  (Rev. 13)  The bible is a book of prophecy.  Time and time again the prophecies of the bible have come true.  At Revelations 14:8 the fall of Babylon the Great is prophesied.  Satan and his demons still use Babylon the Great to decieve people today.  (Rev.12:9)  She hasn’t fallen yet.  Do you want to be mixed in with her when she eventually falls.  From what I understand, when she falls, she will fall hard.

Although persons at your church may be familiar with the doctrine or main teachings of your church, the chances are very likely that some of them disagree with or do not fully understand all of the churches beliefs.  That goes for all churches or religions.  It would be a wonderful thing if everyones mind was in sync with a totally truthful doctrine.  Because of Adams original sin which made us all imperfect, that is not possible yet.  Your congregation would have to be extremely small for that to be the case. There will come a time when all persons will be united under Jesus Christs rule however. (Dan.2:44) Until then I urge you to continue following us and to comment on the truths that are unveiled here at Truthseekerny.wordpress.com/

Subject:  “Which bible is the best for you?”

The bible has been translated into many languages.  Many of the translations contain the Old testament which was originally written in Hebrew and the new testament which was originally written in Greek.  Many of those bibles contain 66 books and the books chosen to be a part of the bible were chosen by prominent religious leaders who were the majority.  Some churches chose to use additional books as part of their worship.  (The Roman Catholic church, and the Eastern Orthodox church to name a few)  These churches are the minority.  Most churches only use bibles that contain 66 books.  The books of the bible that were chosen by the majority and prominent religious leaders were considered to be canonical or worthy to be read in church and used for religious aid.  The question is; What is the best bible to use?

It has been discovered that many bibles have been tampered with.  Even the bibles that contain 66 books.  It is believed by some christians that a letter was taken away from the gospel of John possibly to support belief in the trinity.  In some bibles at John it reads,” In the beggining the Word was.  And the Word was with God, and the Word was a God.”  In other bibles it states “the Word was God.”  This may seem insignificant but it certainly isn’t.  The Word is another name used to describe the Christ.  For some the Trinity means that God, Christ, and the holy spirit are one and the same.  There are many gods in this world.  In the bible even Satan is described as a god at 2 Cor.4:4.  Many false gods have also been worshipped since the beginning of time.  The Word is described as a god since he helped create everything.  At John 1:3  it says “All things came into existence through him, and apart from him not even one thing came into existence.”

It is believed that the letter “a” was taken away from the scriptures at John 1:1 to support the Trinity belief.  It leads people to believe that the Word is the same as God as opposed to him being godlike.  ( Bibles that have historically translated this verse correctly are: The Bible- An American Translation, by J.M.P. Smith and E.J. Goodspeed, Chicago 1935.   Also : The New Testament, in an improved version, upon the basis of Archbishop Newcomes New translation:  with a corrected text, london 1808. to name a few.)

In many bibles Gods divine name was also removed due to Jewish superstition.  In the synogogue at Nazereth, when Jesus rose and read Isaiah 61:1,2 he pronounced Gods divine name.  This was in accordance with his determination to make Jehovahs name known as can be seen in his prayer to his Father at Joh.17:6,26.

Jehovah gave His name to Moses in the form of four Hebrew letters.  We cannot be sure how the name was pronounced today.  We do know that God wanted His name to be known by His followers.  His name diffrentiates Him from other gods.  He let His name be known to Moses at Exodus 6:3.

Due to the fact that the bible does not indicate that God wanted His name to be hidden at any time and that substituting His name with “Lord” or “God” can cause confusion; it is understood that a translation that that restores His name to the scriptures is necessary.

There is a translation of the bible that acknowledges the point made in this article.  There are some churches that use other books in addition to the 66 canonized books of the bible.  Some of those books may inspire persons to worship the true God but they may also be historically innacurrate or have other flaws.  This is why using these books inside or outside of church is not recommended.  Where some bibles have been tampered with to support pagan or prechristian teachings, there are some bibles that have stayed away from going in that direction.  While it was a common custon to substitute Gods name by inserting the word “Lord” or “God” into the scriptures; it is understood that this only weakens a translation.

Afterword:  The New World Translation of the Holy Scriptures is a bible that acknowledges the points made in this article and the translators have translated the bible in a way that steers clear of the mistakes made by many bible translators.  While the basic truths of the bible can be taught by using the King James version, it is understood by many bible scholars that the King James version as well as many other translations are flawed.  Some of the flaws are outlined in this article.  The New World Translation of the Holy Scriptures was published by the Watchtower Bible and Tract Society.  This is an organization affiliated with Jehovahs witnesses.  This newsletter is not affiliated with or a part of the Jehovahs witnesses organization.  After careful study it is accepted that The New World Translation of the Holy Scriptures is the best known translation today.

The Truthseeker companion vol.1

Filed under: Uncategorized — truthseekerny @ 11:10 pm

Foreword:  This newsletter is a commentary on the Truthseeker newsletter.  It also covers current events.

This is a very joyful time since the congregation is building.  It is small but it is building.  The last newletter is volume 5.  I think it is the best place for newcomers to start.  The article “How do we know the bible is from God?” will extend your understanding on the bible.  Many people think it is just a book written by men.  Many still do not understand that it is a book of divine prophecy and the predictions within it have come true time and time again.  The intentions are genuine in that we would like to steer you toward bible truths and toward salvation.  The bible predicts many blessings for righteous followers of Christ and his Father Jehovah.

We are not a part of the Watchtower bible and tract society.  We are not Jehovahs Witnesses.  Although the plan is to Witness or shall I say spew the good news of Gods word the bible abroad.  We are Christian but Nondenominational.  There are no plans to knock on anyones door to bring them Gods word as that is sometimes viewed as intrusive.  There are many places where we can meet our loved ones and strangers alike with Gods word.  This is basically an online church.  Ministers of God are urgently needed.  We should all heed the command that Christ gave to his followers at Matthew 28:19,20.  Aiding you in that is a priority.  Prayers that we are steered in the right direction are frequently made.  Your comments important to us.  Even if you disagree with something that you see.  We only want to do righteous works.  Faith without works is dead.  It was written.   The Truthseeker newsletter volume 5 will be finished shortly.

The Truthseeker newsletter vol.4

Filed under: Uncategorized — truthseekerny @ 9:08 pm

This is the newsletter of religion and current events.

Foreword: The free online encyclopedia, the Wikipedia was used during research for this newsletter.  The endeavor was to ascertain which books that the Most High God of the bible would want us to use to aid us in worship.

Subject:  “How can we tell the bible is from god?”

Faithful and knowledgable Christians understand that god gave his word to man in different ways.  In order for us to understand god and what he intends for us to do, God let men have visions, fall into trances and have dreams at times so that they could write and preserve his word.  (Rev.1,2)

The prophecies within the bible definitely show that the bible is from a higher power.  For instance, many of the things occuring during Jesus Christs life were predicted through prophecies written before Christ ever walked the earth.  It was foretold in the Old Testament that Christ would be betrayed for thirty pieces of silver and that he would never have a bone broken, as well as other prophecies.

Through the prophet Isaiah who lived in the eighth century B.C.E., Jehovah foretold that the city of Babylon would be destroyed.  (Isaiah 13:19, 14:22,23) Isaiahs prophecy even named the king that would conquer Babylon-Cyrus- (Isaiah 44: 27- 45:2).   There are countless other noteworthy prophecies that come true in the bible.

The bible is also very accurate and harmonious.  It’s writers lived at different times and came from many walks of life.  Some were farmers, fishermen, and shepherds.  Others were prophets , Judges, and Kings.  Despite their varied backgrounds, the bible is harmonius from beggining to end.   There is an overall theme.

The bible is scientifically accurate.  It contains some information that is ahead of its time.  At a time when there were wrong ideas about the shape of the earth, the bible referred to it as a circle or sphere.  (Isaiah 40:22) The bible is also historically accurate.  It includes not only the names but also the ancestry of individuals.  The bible lets us know that “All scripture is inspired of God and beneficial for teaching, for reproving,  for setting things straight, for disciplining in righteousness, that the man of god may be fully competent, completely equipped for every good work.” (2 Tim. 3:16,17) -(Taken from the New World Translation of the Holy Scriptures. ) Gods promises are certain to be fulfilled.  (Numbers 23:19)

Some people may argue that not everyone uses the same bible however.  While most bibles contain 66 books which contain the Old testament and the New testament; The Catholic bible and a few other churches have added additional books such as Ecclesiasticus, and first and second maccabees to name a few.  The church of Jesus Christ of latter-day Saints which is commonly but imprecisely called the Mormon church uses a book of Mormon which is their sacred text published in 1830 as a supplemental testament to the bible.  They claim it was compiled by a prophet warrior named Mormon and his son Moroni, the last of the Nephite people.

The question is; Are any of these books inspired by god?  And does god want us to look at them?  Critics of the book of Mormon claim the book was fabricated by Josph Smith Jr.  and/ or portions of it plagarized from various works available to Smith, ranging from ” The King James Bible”, “The Wonders of Nature”, ” View of the Hebrews”, to an unpublished manuscript published by Solomon Spalding.  For a few followers of the LDS movement, unresolved issues issues of the books historical authenticity  and lack of archaeological evidence have led them to adopt a compromise position that the book of Mormon may be the creation of Smith, but it was nevertheless created through divine inspiration.  The official position of Latter-day Saints, and that of most in the LDS movement is that it is a historical record.  The bible itself teaches that Satan has been misleading the entire world.  (Rev.12:9)  Books outside of the 66 books of the bible should not be quickly accepted.  It is doubtful if they are worthy of being scrutinized.

According to bible historians,   many of the books that are not part of the traditional Hebrew or Christian Canon have doubtful authorship and are questionable in authenticity.  Many of these books are termed Apocrpha, meaning “hidden”, “spurious”, or “of questionable authenticity”.  According to the Wikipedia an online encyclopedia, First Maccabees which is a book used by the Catholic church has an assumed author who is thought to be a Jew who may have even  taken part in the events described in the book.  The authors name is unknown.  The wikipedia claims his information about foreign countries is innaccurate.  The author also does not give much credit to God in his writings.  The words “God” or “Lord” do not ever even appear in the text.  The book of Judith is said to contain numerous historical anachronisms or mistakes,  which is why many scholars think the book is ahistorical.

Some of these books that are neither Hebrew canon or Christian canon may hold historical significance and they may have been quoted in the New testament, but there are reasons why they are not commonly accepted.  * The books that were deemed canonical or inspired do not contain mistakes, although there is evidence that some books were tampered with to support pagan beliefs.  Any reasoning person would reason that God would not give us a book with flaws as a tool for worship.  (2 Tim. 3:16,17)

*In this article it was stated that the bible has been tampered with.  The divine word of God has been properly translated in some bibles however.  Taking Gods divine name Jehovah out of the scriptures and replacing it with God or Lord makes it a translation weaker.  This was done due to Jewish superstition.  Gods divine name was restored in some bibles however.  The “New World Translation of the Holy Scriptures” is a very good translation of the bible.  You can recieve Gods divine message in most bibles that have 66 books for the most part however. This is why they will be quoted from in the future along with the New World Translation of the Holy Scriptures.

Look for the article ” Which bible is the best for you?”  Coming soon.

The Truthseeker newsletter vol.3

Filed under: Uncategorized — truthseekerny @ 6:37 pm

Foreword: For this newsletter the New World Translation of the Holy Scriptures was used predominantly. We will quote from other bibles also in the future. Look out for the article: “Which bible is best for you?”
I was once a part of a religion that believed that they were the only true religion on earth. When speaking about the organization members would describe the brotherhood as the “truth”. As a member I used to describe it as the truth also. I no longer consider this organization the only true religion on earth. It took many years for me to come to this understanding. Under close scrutiny many religions tend to go beyond the basic truths of the bible and include parts to their doctrine or establishment that are unacceptable. By Clayton Dunmore
Subject: “How can you tell a false religion?”
For me personally, I tend to view most christian establishments as false when I see a certain idol either on top of the church or inside of the church. I will get into the topic of idols deeper at another time. It is a deep discussion. (1 Corinthians 10:14, Col.3:5) The bible does indicate that idolatry cannot be a part of true worship.
If there is one true religion, I have not found it. I would like to work towards forming worldwide congregations that would follow the god of the bible wholeheartedly and according to gods word. I implore you to continue following this newsletter as we embark on completing that goal. It is not as hard as it may seem.  We have blueprints of other organizational uprisings to learn from. Please take our messages seriously and study the articles with your bible to come to you own full understanding of the truths that we unleash and discover. These messages that are being delivered are very likely to be the most important messages that you will ever receive. We may make spelling errors. (Rom. 5:12) But the conclusions that are drawn from gods word the bible will be gods word. And the god of the bible is a god of truth.

Subject: “What is hell?”

Our lifespan as humans is somewhere from 70 years to 90 years and possibly more if we are fortunate. What could someone do within that short lifespan to warrant eternal torment. Due to the fact that sin entered the world because of Adam, we became imperfect. (Gen.3, Rom.5:12) The god of the bible is also a god of love and forgiveness. (Isa. 55:7 and John 3:16) God loves us so much that he gave his only begotten son so that we could attain everlasting life. Why would a god who loves us create a hell or allow there to be a hell where persons could be tormented forever for things that happen during a short lifespan? The bible does not indicate that hell is a place of everlasting torment.  In fact the bible indicates that hell is aplace of inactivity.  As far as hell or Sheol goes the bible states at ecclesiastes 9:10 “All that your hand finds to do, do with your very power. For there is no work nor devising nor knowledge nor wisdom in Sheol, the place to which you are going.” The bible book ecclesiastes was written in Hebrew. Sheol is a Hebrew word.  Websters new college dictionary defines Sheol as hell.  Or a place described in the old testament  as the abode of the dead.  Fire is used symbolycally in the bible.  At Matthew 25:41 it reads” Be on your way from me, you who have been cursed, into the everlasting fire prepared for the devil and his angels.”  Since the devil is not a physical being, he cannot be burned by literal fire. The fire is spoken of as everlasting fire.  Fire is something that we as humans can identify with.  That is why this reference was used.  Satan will be destroyed eventually.  (Rev.20:10) The bible may not be speaking literally when it says in revelations that satan would be placed in a lake of fire and tormented forever at Revelation 20:10.  Whether that verse is literal or not, the word forever is used.  Therefore satans stronghold over man will be ended.

Hades is the greek word for hell.  The new testament is translated from greek.  In Websters new college dictionary Hades is defined as the abode or home of the dead.  It is also defined as hell.  At Rev. 20:13 it reads: “And the sea gave up those dead in it, and death and Hades gave up those dead in them, and they were judged individually according to their deeds.  Rev. 20:14 reads: “And death and Hades were hurled into the lake of fire.  This means the second death, the lake of fire.” Remember at verse 13 it said that Hades gave gave up those dead in them and they were judged.  This shows that Hades is not a place that cannot be escaped.  The dead will escape from Hades or hell as prophesied.  All the prophecies in the bible have come true so far.  At Rev. 20:14 it sais that death was hurled into the lake of fire.  This shows symbollism.  Death itself cannot be hurled into a literal fire.  It just doesn’t make sense logically.  Death is a term used to describe the end of life. Death is not a piece of wood.  This verse is an example of the symbollic writings and prophecies of  the bible.

There are many scriptures that indicate that hell is not the place of torment that many people think it is.  (Rev. 12:9) Somehow people have been misled about the truth for many years.  Hell is just the common graveyards and cemetaries that exist here on earth.  I implore you to do further study on hell in your spare time.  We will touch on this topic further at a later date.

Afterword:  I am Clayton Dunmore a writer and editor for this newsletter.  I will be enlisting the help of other writers for this newsletter.  Zealous persons and god fearing writers are needed.  I am not a prophet.  I do have many years of theological study under my belt.  I became an ordained minister with a different organization and the knowledge I gained from the 66 books of the bible is priceless.  You may not believe everything you read in this newsletter at first.  If you do the research on the conclusions and messages that are dispensed, you will see that there is strong validity in these teachings.  It is not our intent to fool anyone or add anything to the 66 books of the bible.  Thank you; and please read the next Truthseeker newsletter.
